It’s that time of year again, and love is in the air at Insiten.

No, not puppy love—we’re talking about our love for learning. It’s no secret that we’re big believers in the ongoing pursuit of knowledge; after all, education is a big part of growth. In order to level up as individuals and as professionals, we think it’s important that everyone has the opportunity to embark on their own learning journey, and there are a few initiatives that help make that happen.

For starters, we have weekly senior mentorship sessions led by software engineering veteran and professional trainer Toby Ho. In these one-on-one meetings, individual team members can work with Toby to develop a roadmap for their long-term learning, check their progress towards long-term learning goals, or learn new ways to improve their technical skills.

We also offer regular peer-led learning sessions. During these sessions, team members have the opportunity to ask their peers about anything they want to know, from new coding concepts to software tools and even life advice.

Our commitment to learning extends beyond our walls, too: we also give back to the community through our college co-op and high school internship programs, career fairs, and our participation in tech discussion panels.
By stacking our team with lifelong learners who are passionate about expanding their knowledge and sharing it with others, the cycle of learning never ends. And that’s sweeter than any box of chocolates.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
